About us

Where community feels like family, and church feels like home

At Zion Lutheran Church, our whole community is focused on knowing Jesus, growing and serving in faith, and helping everyone feel connected to God and one another. Every generation is important as we grow together as a part of God’s family. We hope the warm and accepting atmosphere makes you feel part of an even bigger family

Connect, Grow, Serve, Give

People at Zion use the words “Connect, Grow, Serve, and Give” to capture the idea of movement in the journey each of us takes toward a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

We may not all start in the same place or follow the exact same path, but we seek to be a community of Christ followers who encourage each other to Connect to God and one another; Grow in faith and in knowledge of God’s Word; make an impact as we Serve others; and Give generously of our time, talents and treasures out of gratitude for all we have received from God.

Our beliefs

First, we believe that all humans have sinned and are in need of forgiveness. That forgiveness was accomplished for us by Jesus’ life, death on the cross, and resurrection. Second, we are Lutheran, so you’ll see a strong focus on salvation by grace through faith in Christ as revealed in the Bible.
