Zion’s Serve Team is hosting our fall Saturday of Service on November 15, beginning at 8:30 am in the fellowship hall (church basement). We will meet for devotions, doughnuts, and details.
T-Shirts will be given to those who don’t already have one from a previous Saturday of Service. Please wear your shirt if you already have one. If your service opportunity is away from Zion, you will leave from here after the opening.

The service opportunities for this Saturday of Service are:

Bingo and Mingle – Lead bingo games for nursing home residents, host a photo booth and visit with residents at Keystone Place – O’Fallon. All supplies provided. All ages welcome!

Tornado Help at Bethlehem – Help sort and organize donations for victims of the north St. Louis tornado at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, St. Louis. Ages Teen to Adult.

It’s Your Birthday Inc. – Make birthday hats and wrap boxes that will be used at birthday parties for kids in homeless and domestic violence shelters. All ages welcome!

Shelter Shop Help for the Violence Prevention Center (2 opportunities) – Help count puzzle pieces or game pieces that will be sold at the shop (all ages welcome) or go volunteer at the shop for the morning (teen to adults). All supplies provided.

Leaf Raking – Help rake leaves for people who need some extra help or who are unable to rake. Bring a rake or leaf blower. Bags, gloves and some rakes will be provided. All ages welcome!

Freezer Meals for Safe Families – Assemble freezer meals at Zion that can be given to foster families through Safe Families for Children. All supplies provided. All ages welcome!

Angel Tree Care Packs – Pack care packs at Zion that will be given to caregivers at the Angel Tree party (prison ministry) in December.

Crafts for Caroling – Make crafts that will be delivered to shut-ins and nursing home residents during Zion’s Christmas Caroling in December. All ages welcome!
