On Saturday, April 13, beginning at 8:30 am, let’s join together as a church and school family and make a difference in our community for Zion’s April Saturday of Service hosted by Zion’s Serve Team! We have 4 projects planned for that day; simply choose the project that works best for you or your family. All participants should meet in the church basement at 8:30 am to pick up their t-shirt and grab a doughnut. Everyone will head out to their projects from there. Our 4 options for the April Saturday of Service include:

1. It’s Your Birthday, Inc. — Make birthday hats and use birthday wrapping to cover boxes that will be used to hold gifts and supplies for birthday celebrations for children in homeless and domestic violence shelters; all ages welcome
2. Journey of Hope (house for new moms) — Clean patio furniture, do yard work and fill 2 raised flower beds; please bring gardening supplies and rakes; all ages welcome
3. Bingo and Mingle at a nursing home — Lead Bingo games for nursing home residents, host photo booth, visit with residents; all ages welcome
4. Spring Cleaning at Zion — Dusting, scrubbing, wiping, windows and more. Help Zion shine!; all ages welcome
